Pay small small

The short version

You pay a first part today. Your website goes live straight away.
Then you pay the same small amount every week or every month until it's done.
Paying in parts costs about 10% more than paying at once. That's the only extra. No interest, no hidden fees.
DaStrings keeps your website and web address until the last part is paid. Then they are fully yours.
Your monthly care plan is free while you are paying.
If a payment is 7 days late, your website pauses until it's paid. Nothing is deleted.
Pay off early any time: you pay only what's left, with no extra fee.

1. The prices

If you agreed a different price with Excel, your pay page shows your own plan: about 30% first, then equal parts, about 10% more in total. The plan on your pay page when you pay the first part is the plan you agreed to.

The first part covers your web address (domain) and setting up your website, so it is not refunded.

2. How you pay each part

You choose when you start:

Automatically from your card. Your card is saved safely by Paystack (DaStrings never sees your card number) and charged on each due day.
Automatically from your bank account (where available). You approve it once with your bank.
A pay link each time. On each due day you get a link by WhatsApp and email. Pay by card, bank transfer or USSD.

We remind you 3 days before each payment. You can also pay early any time from your pay page or your editor ("My payments"). Payments are processed by Paystack.

3. Who owns what

While you are paying, DaStrings holds your website and your web address for you. The web address is registered with your business name as the name on it, but it sits in DaStrings' account, so only DaStrings can move or renew it. When the last part is paid, DaStrings gives you the code to move the web address wherever you like, and the website is yours. After that, the care plan (hosting, security, backups and small changes) starts at the normal monthly price, and the yearly domain renewal is charged at cost.

4. If a payment is late

On the due day, then 2 and 5 days later, we try again or remind you.
After 7 days, your website is paused. Visitors see a short "taking a break" page with your phone number. Nothing is deleted.
Pay what is due and your website comes back online straight away.
Having a hard time? Message Excel. We can move a payment date.
After 60 days late, DaStrings may end the plan. The website stays offline, the web address is not renewed, and money already paid is not refunded.

5. Stopping

You can stop any time by telling Excel. Money already paid is not refunded, and the website and web address stay with DaStrings. If you want them later, you can pay off what is left.

6. Questions

Message Excel on WhatsApp or email excel@dastrings.name.ng. These terms work together with our Privacy policy. If we change them, the version on this page when you paid your first part is the one that applies to your plan.
